We are a community of Christians who enjoy the wonder of God’s love and forgiveness through Jesus Christ.
We have a realistic appreciation of the pain of living in a fallen world and the need of the encouragement of the good news (gospel) of Jesus Christ for the whole of life. We also acknowledge that none of us is perfect and that is why we rely on Jesus alone for forgiveness, peace with God and everlasting hope.
The teaching of the Bible dominates all that we do. We work together to understand it, while always remembering that some are checking things out, some are new Christians and others have been a Christian a long time. It is our experience that as we study the Bible and pray together our lives are steadily transformed by God’s Spirit.
We range in age from babies to ‘in the vicinity of eighty’ and everyone has an important place in the life of the Church.
Because Jesus Christ cares for us, we endeavour, with all sorts of limitations to care for one another.
We have a great desire for others to know Jesus so we try hard to tell people about who He is and about His great work for us.
